• We are hiring immediately for a part-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) position.
• Location: CHS - Navarro Hospital - 3201 West Highway 22, Corsicana, TX 75110. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time. Shifts include: 6:30 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $11.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They ensure meals are accurate, timely, and meet safety and satisfaction goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary staff to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report problems or concerns promptly.
• Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver carts.
