• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) positions.
• Address: Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside - 1 Schircliff Way, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Days and hours may vary, including 12-hour shifts, 2 days on and 2 days off, every other weekend, and a half-day on Wednesday; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous patient dining experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and collecting meal trays. They are part of the caregiving team, focused on patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with menu choices and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Work with culinary staff to accommodate allergies, cultural, religious, or additional preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards, and adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and cleanliness.
• Assist dietitians as needed, including monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report problems or concerns promptly.
• Complete required reports and follow sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
