• Location: Baptist Memorial Hospital - 6019 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38120. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, alternating two-week schedule; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.

• Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

• Assist patients with menu choices and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Work with the culinary team to accommodate food allergies, cultural preferences, or additional requests.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Comply with regulatory standards including HIPAA, JCAHO, and food safety guidelines like HACCP.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets or with specific caloric needs.
• Report issues promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Follow sanitation and infection control policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
