• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE/DIETARY AIDE positions.
• Location: Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton - 1995 Highway 51 South, Covington, TN 38019. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No prior experience required. Willing to train!
• Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work in healthcare settings, assisting patients with menu selections, meal assembly, delivery, and tray pickup. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu choices, coordinating with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Work with culinary staff to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report issues promptly and complete required documentation.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
