Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are key to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the right temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Work with culinary and caregiving teams to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians with patient monitoring, especially for special diets.
• Report problems or concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete required reports as per policies.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
