• Location: Posyt Acute Medical - 1001 Raintree Circle, Allen, TX 75013. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Wednesday - Saturday, 5:30 am - 6:30 pm. Weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service or culinary experience required. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.
• Coordinate with nursing and culinary teams for special dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately, and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning stations.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on specific diets.
• Report issues promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
