Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Providence St Johns Health in Santa Monica, CA. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, and support meal service on assigned units.

The role requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and customer service experience. Lifting up to 100 pounds may be required as part of tray handling and delivery.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, or cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection; retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Complies with regulator agency standards including HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining stations.
