Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Aufgaben

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies and sensitivities; consider cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s selection; retrieve trays from patient rooms on time.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and facility policies; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on restricted diets as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly; complete daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
