Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at UF Health Flagler Hospital in Saint Augustine, FL is hiring immediately for full time and part time Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) to support patient meals on assigned units.

You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, and work with nursing to meet dietary needs. Training is provided; pay starts at $15.50–$16.50 per hour. Benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and interpret English documents.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and push carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Assemble and deliver meals on time according to each patient’s selections.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Communicate issues promptly to appropriate staff.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
