Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) in Savannah, GA. Roles include assisting with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in a hospital setting.

Full-time and part-time positions available; training provided. Wage ranges from $14.50 to $15.00 per hour, with benefits for eligible employees. Monday–Friday shifts with potential weekends, located at St Joseph/Candler Hospital.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and dietary preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation policies and ensure meals are delivered safely.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets and communicate concerns to appropriate staff.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
