Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Diet Clerk to support patient meals in a hospital and long-term care setting. The role involves delivering trays, collecting nourishments, and coordinating with the Food and Nutrition Services and Nursing teams to ensure accurate diet orders and patient satisfaction.

The position requires English proficiency, prior call center or administrative experience, and the ability to work evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.
• Must have call center or admin experience; will also function as a host as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service; delivers nourishments and snacks as ordered.
• Visit patients to introduce Food and Nutrition Services department.
• Obtain food preferences/dislikes from patients or family members.
• Communicate patient food needs to Food and Nutrition Services.
• Ensure diet orders are fulfilled with appropriate menu selections.
• Maintain sanitation and cleaning schedules; assist with other sanitation tasks.
• Inventory and restock pantries, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Maintain temperature logs for unit refrigeration.
• Assist clinical staff to meet patients' basic nutrition needs.
