Qualifications

• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects menus.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections in accordance with prescribed diet.
• Provides alternatives to menu within prescribed diet considering allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Plans regular and modified menus based on current diet manual.
• Prepares and distributes supplements and enteral formula as required.
• Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
• Completes required documentation and logs.
• Follows infection-control policies and participates in improvement programs.
