Primary Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and their families, making them feel welcome
  • Gather patient information, create files, verify insurance eligibility
  • Maintain a productive schedule and arrange future appointments
  • Confirm appointments and update schedules as needed
  • Answer questions about insurance and financial arrangements
  • Collect and post payments from patients and insurance companies
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; additional education in business or healthcare preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare or customer service
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and benefits preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; dental software experience preferred
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
