Patient Coordinator
Ability to work scheduled hours, generally an 8-hour shift; schedules may include 8:00 am EST – 5:00 pm EST, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm EST, or 11:00 am – 8:00 pm EST, subject to change based on business needs.

The Patient Coordinator 1 (PC 1) provides support and resolves customer requests by accurately answering calls from patients, caregivers, and healthcare practitioners. They educate and address questions about the brand, enrollments, and case status updates.

The role supports high-volume programs related to retail and specialty pharmacy products.

The PC 1 may share relevant information with patients/caregivers about resources and services, including referrals to Care Navigators. They respond to program-related queries, support enrollments, and explain co-payments, connecting patients/caregivers to appropriate resources as needed.

Strong communication skills are essential to discuss treatment journeys and offer solutions following approved procedures.

A PC 1 has a learning mindset, accepts constructive feedback, and seeks continual development. They manage stressful calls calmly and reassuringly.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain knowledge of NPS programs; broaden program knowledge over time.
Respond promptly and courteously via multiple communication channels, including phone, chat, fax, SMS, mail, and email.
Prepare documentation, escalate issues, and perform follow-up.
Coordinate with support and product teams to transfer customers and ensure timely care.
Share innovative ideas to improve efficiency.
Engage in real-time communication with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and team members, while accurately documenting interactions.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy in written communication.
Manage confidential information per company policies and report adverse events as required.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Reside within 90 miles of East Hanover, NJ, with ability to commute onsite as needed.
Work scheduled hours, typically an 8-hour shift, with potential schedule changes.
Complete initial training and certification.
Minimum 6 months of contact center experience or equivalent education/military service.
Experience with data entry, communication tools, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: 1 year of healthcare contact center experience, therapeutic area knowledge.

Location: East Hanover, NJ (Onsite for training, then hybrid)
Pay Rate: $25-$28/hour, based on experience
Contract duration: 8 months
