Job summary

The Trinity Health Of New England Adult Medicine Practice is seeking a front desk professional to ensure accurate patient registration, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced, patient-centered office.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a medical office or billing environment, strong keyboard skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office on Windows. This day-shift role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in Windows-based environments and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
