Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Parking Attendant (Valet) to greet patients and visitors, assist with valet parking, and provide directions. You will help patients safely enter and exit vehicles and support mobility needs as required, contributing to a welcoming, efficient experience in a hospital setting.

The role is outdoors, requires staying active, and entails strong customer service skills. Compensation includes base pay of $19/hour, with most hours Monday–Friday from 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable outdoors and physically active.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Professional communicator in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Safely park and retrieve vehicles for patients and visitors.
• Provide directions and general customer service support.
• Assist patients with wheelchairs and mobility needs as required.
• Help maintain smooth traffic flow in valet and parking areas.
• Monitor parking areas for safety hazards and report concerns.
• Support emergency procedures when needed.
