Trinity Health Livonia Campus is seeking a Part-time Patient Companion to provide continuous observation and support for patients on the Float Pool. This role emphasizes attentiveness, safety, and compassionate care.

You will summon nursing staff as needed, assist with daily living activities, and monitor patient conditions while upholding HIPAA rules and fall-prevention policies. This position offers weekend rotation and holiday requirements for full/part-time team members.

Qualifikationen

• Follows suicide protection policy.
• Assist RN and staff within scope including ADLs (feeding, oral care, bathing, toileting).
• Contact RN with signs of pain or change in patient condition.
• Follow Fall Risk precautions.

Aufgaben

• Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
• Summon nursing staff when patient requires assistance or intervention.
• Assist RN and staff with ADLs and basic care as directed.
• Report changes in patient condition to RN and follow policies.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA confidentiality.
