Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time patient care assistant to support direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes bedside care, vitals monitoring, positioning, feeding, and basic duties such as EKGs, with a rotating schedule.
Initial training is full-time during the day, with a rotating two 12-hour shift pattern that includes weekends and holidays. A high school diploma and BLS/CPR are required or provided upon hire.

Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Is accountable for the patient care they deliver. Adheres to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center standards of care and practice.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Medical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred. Basic computer skills required Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.
Office/Clinical setting. Exposure class I.
Heavy work: requires standing, lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying.
