Qualifications

• Mandatory Adult/Child Abuse Reporting training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for patients under the direction of a Licensed Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
• Monitor patients who may be confused, impulsive, or at risk for injury.
• Document care activities according to policy.
• Maintain a safe work environment and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 14 days of employment.
• Mandatory Adult/Child Abuse Reporting – APS- IA & NE within 6 months of employment.
• Preferred: One year of experience in Behavioral Health or Human Services, Nurse Aide training, or current nursing/human services students.
