Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care in Westerville, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering excellent patient care. The role is full-time, with 32 hours per week and benefits eligibility.

You will escort patients, record histories, measure vital signs, collect blood and injections, perform EKGs, and assist with front office duties and patient education on care-gap closures. Required: MA program graduate, high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of immunizations, meds, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Basic knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems preferred.
• Must have proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Escorting patients to exam rooms.
• Recording patient medical, social and family history.
• Measuring patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).
• Completing blood draws and injections for patients.
• Completing EKG's for patients.
• Assisting with front office duties.
• Assisting with educating patient on care-gap closures.
• Other duties as assigned.
