Central Ohio Primary Care in Columbus, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient delivery of primary health care and a positive patient experience.

The role is full-time with benefits, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, located in Columbus, OH. You will work with the care team to perform injections, blood draws, specimen handling, EHR updates, and patient education while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program required.
• MA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver the best care for our patients.
• Foster direct communication between care team, patient/caregiver and providers to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with care team to address gaps in care (chart prep).
• Promote improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, and efficient resource use.
• Set-up medical equipment, perform tests, administer injections and collect specimens.
• Administer vaccines as directed.
• Interview patients and obtain medical history.
• Measure and record vital signs; document in the EHR.
