Central Ohio Primary Care in Columbus, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering top-quality patient care. This full-time, benefits-eligible role is located in Columbus, Ohio, with Monday–Thursday 6:45am–3:30pm and Friday 6:30am–12pm shifts.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a Medical Assistant program with basic knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology, plus proficiency with computer systems. EHR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Basic knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Record patient medical, social and family history.
• Measure vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).
• Perform blood draws and injections.
• Complete EKGs for patients.
• Assist with front office duties.
• Educate patients on care-gap closures.
• Other duties as assigned.
