Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Michigan seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues while upholding Meijer policies and state/federal laws.

You will lead pharmacy operations, mentor technicians, and contribute to clinical services such as immunizations, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Educate and mentor staff to expand the pharmacy business.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
• Oversee operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
