Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a physician for general patient care in both practice and hospital settings. You will provide high quality medical services, participate in quality and patient-satisfaction initiatives, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical school with residency/fellowship in the relevant specialty and hold an MD or DO license in good standing. Board certification or eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate medical education credentials and board eligibility/certification requirements.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• License by state medical board (MD or DO).

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Follow standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, treatment planning and patient communication.
• Coordinate patient care and referrals with physicians, nurses and other professionals.
• Educate patients and families and promote wellness and prevention.
