Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years in a physician's office, clinic, or hospital.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Technologist is required.
• Ability to obtain and record vital signs and prepare patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments and record vital signs.
• Prepare instruments and equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist Physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Clean and dress wounds and remove sutures as directed.
• Observe patients and report adverse reactions to staff.
• Collect samples for lab testing and deliver to lab.
• Sterilize materials, instruments, rooms, and supplies.
• Inventory and requisition supplies.
• Review patient charts for prescriptions, tests and follow-ups.
• Provide patient education per Physician guidance.
