You will verify eligibility, determine benefits, and document details in our systems, interacting with payers by phone and online.

The role requires 1–2 years of medical billing/insurance verification, strong knowledge of CPT/ ICD-10, excellent customer service, and precise data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years medical billing/insurance verification experience.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments or procedures.
• Contact insurance companies via telephone and websites for details.
• Document information in appropriate systems.
• Determine provider participation status with payer.
• Answer incoming billing calls and emails.
• Comply with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
