SimonMed Imaging seeks a hands-on Technologist Assistant to prepare exam rooms and support patient flow in a fast-paced imaging center. You will assist technologists and clinical staff with patient mobility, exam setup, and safety protocols, ensuring a respectful and comfortable patient experience throughout visits.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, clear communication, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
• IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements).
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and physically assist patients throughout the day.
• Comfort supporting patient mobility, positioning, and safe transfers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow and mobility.
• Support technologists and clinical staff for a smooth imaging experience.
• Escort patients and provide basic procedural support while following safety guidelines.
• Maintain room readiness, cleanliness, and supply levels for continuous patient flow.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure patient comfort, safety and efficient workflows.
