Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license and BLS/PALS certification required.

• Assesses patient needs and applies critical thinking in care management.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Educates patients and caregivers about their plan of care and transition of care.
• Performs charge nurse duties and coordinates supplies and staffing as needed.
• Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient care under the care delivery model.
• Documents care accurately per hospital and regulatory standards.
• Acts as a professional role model and preceptor for staff and students.
