Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Nurse (RN) to deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess patient needs, collaborate with the care team, and educate families about the plan of care and discharge.

Applicants should hold a NY State RN license, a BSN or progress toward one, and BLS/PALS certification. Pediatric hematology/oncology experience is preferred and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program and RN licensure in New York.
• BSN preferred; continuing education and relevant clinical competence.
• BLS and PALS certification required for pediatric care.
• Minimum two years of pediatric hematology/oncology RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with an emphasis on family education.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure patient safety.
• Document thoroughly in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
