Job summary

Jefferson Lansdale Hospital seeks a professional nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of diverse patients. Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration.
• Cultural awareness and respectful communication with diverse patients.
• Effective communication and delegation within a health care team.
• Patient assessment and care planning knowledge.
• Medication administration and discharge planning knowledge.
• Health information documentation proficiency.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
• Integrates Evidence-Based Practice and clinical expertise for delivery of care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Minimizes risk of harm by following established nursing practices and protocols.
