Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Hugo Clinic. The role is approved for 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) with a three-day-per-week schedule: Monday 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Thursday 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

The RN will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patient populations, coordinating with the health care team and delegating as appropriate under MN regulations.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross) at end of orientation.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or BAN.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Involves patient, family and health team members in data gathering.
• Uses ongoing assessment data to revise patient needs and the plan of care.
• Develops an individualized nursing plan of care.
• Collaborates with patient, family and health team members to develop an integrated plan of care.
• Documents interventions and updates to ensure continuity of care.
• Initiates patient/family teaching appropriate to age and readiness.
• Delegates care to appropriate personnel based on needs and risk.
