Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered respiratory care. The role involves coordinating diagnostic tests and therapies, monitoring ventilated patients, and ensuring airway integrity across acute care settings within our Heart and Spine hospital network.

The ideal candidate holds NBRC-RRT certification with a state license or eligibility, and must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RRT/RCP-State license required or eligible.
• BCLS (or instructor) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessment including breath sounds and airway patency.
• Administer respiratory therapies: oxygen, aerosols, chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airways, initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor responses and intervene as needed; transport ventilator-dependent patients.
