Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (NBRC-RRT) required.
• State-based RRT/RCP credential or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment including breath sounds and cuff pressure documentation.
• Administer oxygen, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and manage ventilation settings.
• Monitor response to therapy and intervene if needed.
• Support transport of ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergencies ensuring airway stability and ventilation.
