Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications require a High School Diploma/GED and being 18 years or older.
• Less than 1 year in a customer service role.
• Ability to display a compassionate, positive, and upbeat disposition in patient and colleague interactions.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in patient care delivery.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to follow directions and provide accurate reports.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Confirms physician orders are complete with signature, ordered study, reason for test, and missing information.
• Provides care to patients using a patient/family-centered approach per policies and procedures.
• Observes and communicates findings to RN or Technologist when appropriate.
• Uses effective verbal and non-verbal communication with patients and staff.
• Demonstrates teamwork by assisting in orientation of new staff, as assigned.
• Maintains accurate information in the database and performs clerical/computer functions.
• Performs registrations as required.
• Ensures safe movement and transport of patients within and between departments.
• Checks supplies and equipment levels to meet patient care needs.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
