Qualifications

• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to follow direction and provide accurate reports.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days.

Responsibilities

• Confirms physician orders are complete with signature, ordered study, and reason for test; obtains missing information prior to treatment.
• Provide care to patients using a patient/family-centered approach per policies.
• Communicate observations and findings to RN or Technologist.
• Use clear verbal and non-verbal communication with patients and staff.
• Support team by assisting in orientation of new staff as assigned.
• Maintain accurate information in the database; perform clerical/computer functions.
• Perform registrations as required.
• Ensure safety and efficient movement of patients within and between departments.
• Confirm supplies and equipment levels to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
