MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacy Division in Houston, TX. The role includes inventory management, maintenance of clean work areas, QA tasks, and adherence to safety and regulatory procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and pharmacy technician registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) upon hire; preferred: Associate's Degree and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) upon hire.
• PHI - Pharmacist Intern License with TSBP upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory and replenishes supplies; notifies shortages.
• Maintains clean and organized work area; ensures proper storage.
• Performs QA tasks and handles hazardous material spills per procedures.
• Follows regulatory access procedures for patient areas and stock movement.
• Operates and references inventory systems such as Pyxis and Pharmogistics.
