Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the League City location. The role focuses on sterile compounding, inventory control, and daily operations within an ambulatory oncology setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and a pharmacy technician certification with at least two years of experience. Hospital experience is preferred; strong accuracy and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent and Pharmacy Technician certification.
• At least two years of Pharmacy Technician experience in ambulatory oncology preferred.
• Hospital experience (6+ months) preferred; accuracy and teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding/preparation following SOPs (USP 797/800/NIOSH).
• Manage inventory, supply chain and ADS systems; ensure accurate dispensing.
• Daily operational duties: equipment maintenance, QA tasks, pump maintenance; cross-area scheduling.
