Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced practice. The MA handles both front- and back-office tasks, from preparing patients for exams to recording vital signs.

Under supervision of the Nurse Supervisor or Practice/Office Manager, you will collaborate with providers, nurses, and administrative teammates to ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care across all ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assisting certs preferred.
• CMA / RMA / NCMA or similar certification required upon hire.
• Experience in a physician practice setting preferred; minimum 1 year preferred.

Responsabilités

• Gathers and records vital signs and patient information.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists during treatments.
• Supports front and back-office tasks including check-in and scheduling.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; adheres to policies.
• Records treatment data in the medical record and supports care coordination.
