Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Georgia seeks a Medical Assistant who provides clinical and administrative support, collects vital signs, preps patients, and assists during treatments in a fast-paced practice.

You will work under the Nurse Supervisor and/or Practice/Office Manager to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care. You will handle front and back office tasks, coordinate tests, document care, and uphold safety and patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required at hire or equivalent (ARC-BLS or Instructor where applicable).
• Certifications listed (CMA, NRCMA, NCMA, RMA, CCMA) may be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and staff.
• Record vital signs and prep patients for exams.
• Assist during treatments and coordinate tests.
• Maintain patient safety and experience.
• Support front office tasks as needed.
