Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or currently pursuing completion.
• Administrative experience, preferably in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with patients.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, confirm demographics and health information, document medical histories.
• Obtain and document vital signs (BP, temperature, weight).
• Prepare patients and treatment areas for visits.
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Support lab testing and phlebotomy duties as appropriate.
• Provide instructions for specimen collection and required testing.
• Administer injections and prescribed medications under supervision.
• Monitor patients and communicate concerns to clinicians.
