Qualifications

• Ability to draw blood and perform phlebotomy under supervision.
• Effective communication with diverse patients and staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy.
• Previous experience with pediatric patients is a plus.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Pre-employment background checks and drug screen must be passed.
• Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Hearing and fit testing certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by provider under supervision; perform selected clinical duties.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on charts; prepares treatment rooms.
• Performs basic clerical duties (phone, records, filing).
• Manages supplies (ordering, stocking) and maintains a clean environment.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe orders (labs, imaging, medications).
