Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• At least 1 year of MA experience or clinical rotation.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Aufgaben

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Support the care team by communicating patient needs to clinicians and staff.
• Administer basic therapeutic procedures under supervision.
• Handle phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection.
• Coordinate calls and prescriptions as directed by physicians.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients.
