Job summary

ChenMed in Minnesota is seeking a Care Promoter 1, Early Embrace, an unlicensed medical professional cross-trained to handle routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the centers running smoothly.

The role includes measuring vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting physicians, collecting samples, and providing health coaching under direct supervision to support a primary care team focused on seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as MA, PCT, EMT or Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physician with exams.
• Administer medications and perform basic first aid under supervision.
• Collect lab specimens and perform basic waived tests.
• Describe treatments and instructions to patients clearly.
