Qualifications

• Registered ARDMS Abdomen or OB-Gyn certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to produce images per Radiologist instructions.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Label, review, and submit images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Follow ALARA principles and maintain sterility and infection prevention.
• Assist with interventional procedures and patient education as needed.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions; maintain supplies.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff; support scheduling and reception duties.
