Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program or a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with 2 years of experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certificates in Abdomen, Breast, and Ob-Gyn per ARDMS; BLS within 3 months of hire.
• Competency in abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, fetal studies, and related ultrasound components.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images.
• Adjust technical factors by patient age and body habitus.
• Document patient history and results accurately after each procedure.
• Schedule patient appointments by phone, mail, or in person using OPAS.
