Jefferson Health seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed clinicians, promoting a safe and compassionate care environment. You will assist with supplies, respond to patient needs, and may participate in telehealth and virtual safety roles.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, ensuring quality care, and supporting telehealth encounters using required devices and software.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to complete delegated tasks within scope of role.
• Knowledge of patient hygiene and daily living activities.
• Awareness of risks in a healthcare environment and how to mitigate them.
• Respectful, collaborative communication with patients and families; diverse backgrounds acknowledged.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision of licensed clinicians.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment.
• Assists with supplies and equipment to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Performs patient rounds, anticipates needs, and responds to call lights promptly.
• May serve as virtual safety associate as needed; may assist with telehealth exams and peripherals.
