Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
• Preferred: Nurse Aide or Emergency Medical Technician certification; healthcare experience; familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care as part of the nursing team, including Tele-Companion and Tele-Tech programs.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and nursing treatments; document patient information in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and patient appointments; assist with prescription assistance and prior authorization as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction; follow standard precautions and department policies.
• Perform basic treatments and procedures under training and demonstrate competence.
