Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. Shift rotations include day and evening hours with some weekends, at 24 hrs/week overall. Eligible applicants should have CNA training and BLS certification, with prior nursing assistant or customer service experience preferred.

Compensation includes hourly pay between $19.71 and $28.58, plus benefits and opportunities for annual increases. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: 24 hr/wk
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, rotating weekends
• Required Travel: no

What you will do:

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with Vital Signs (includes manual blood pressure), 12-Lead EKG, Bladder Ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse
• Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan
• Participate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Eligible to work in the U.S., and completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (C.N.A.) training course preferred, or completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical preferred
• License: N/A
• Certification: Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider issued by either American Heart Association required.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service preferred and/or prior nursing assistant experience preferred
