Unit Description:
The Surgery Oncology department is a 32-bed inpatient adult comprehensive multidisciplinary unit that provides care to general surgery and oncology patients with remote telemetry capabilities. It offers pre and post-op care, chemotherapy, and symptom management. The environment is welcoming to families, and all patient rooms are private. Education of treatment is provided to both the patient and family to support patient-centered care.
