Location: 3 West Step Down
Schedule: 32 Hours, Permanent Night shift including Every Other Weekend
ABOUT THE Critical Care/3W IMCU DEPARTMENT AT BOSTON MEDICAL CENTER: BMC's Surgical Step Down unit is a 38-bed unit providing care for intermediate level surgical patients. The patient population consists of post-operative and surgical specialty patients, including trauma, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, transplant patients and cardiothoracic surgery.
Position SummaryAs a Patient Care Technician in our Critical Care department, you will be a key member of the healthcare team at BMC. Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse (RN) and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice, our Patient Care Technicians provide direct clinical and support services. Using our patient-centered care model and uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, you will participate in the delivery of care to our patients and their families. You will also work cooperatively with all healthcare team members to provide a variety of support services to meet patient, family, and staff needs.

Compensation Range
$23.19- $27.17
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
